Shannon Elizabeth announced she\u2019s joining OnlyFans on Wednesday, and Page Six exclusively learned the announcement comes shortly after she quietly filed to divorce her husband, Simon Borchert.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe divorce is fresh. She is freshly single and launching her OnlyFans tomorrow morning,\u201d a source exclusively told Page Six. We also heard she officially filed documents on Tuesday. <\/p>\n

While the \u201cAmerican Pie\u201d actress<\/a>, 52, hasn\u2019t publicly announced her split, she seemingly hinted at her breakup in a Facebook post<\/a> on Wednesday as she reflected on resets in life.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s something about the ocean that resets everything\u2014slows the noise, softens the edges, and brings you right back to what matters. Grateful for these quiet moments, sandy paws, and unconditional love,\u201d she wrote. <\/p>\n

A rep for Shannon didn\u2019t immediately return Page Six\u2019s request for comment on the split. <\/p>\n

Elizabeth did, however, reveal she\u2019s joining the subscription-based platform in an effort to take control of her narrative.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve spent my entire career working in Hollywood, where other people controlled the narrative and the outcome of my career. This new chapter is about changing that, showing off a more sexy side no one has seen, and being closer to my fans,\u201d Elizabeth told People<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In a separate statement to Page Six, Elizabeth shared that she\u2019s looking forward to more interactions with her fans via the platform.<\/p>\n

\u201cReconnecting with my fans through appearances has reminded me just how much their support has meant to me throughout my career\u2013and how much I\u2019ve missed that energy,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

Elizabeth tied the knot<\/a> with the South African conservation specialist Borchert in 2021. The couple first met in 2015. <\/p>\n

While they have not publicly shared much of their relationship, she and Borchert worked together on her foundation and they have also hosted a podcast together, \u201cThe Art of Conservation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elizabeth was previously married to fellow actor Joseph D.
