The highest scoring team in MLS is looking to build off of back-to-back home wins ahead of Friday\u2019s match against Sporting Kansas City at BC Place.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Whitecaps superstar Thomas M\u00fcller met with the media following training on Wednesday morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n
M\u00fcller\u2019s wish<\/p>\n
Average attendance at Whitecaps home matches is 24,025 so far this season, which ranks near the top of MLS.<\/p>\n
We saw the two biggest crowds of the season roll into BC Place this month \u2014 25,465 for Portland on April 4 and 25,460 for New York City FC on April 11. Friday will mark the 18th consecutive MLS home match with 20,000 plus in attendance. <\/p>\n
While those numbers are obviously positive, M\u00fcller wants more.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cIf I have a wish,\u201d M\u00fcller told reporters. \u201cI don\u2019t know how we can get it done, but it would be nice if the lower bowl is in every home game full full. Not only almost full. I want to have the feeling that it\u2019s packed.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo be honest, it\u2019s enjoyable. It\u2019s enjoyable not only because I love this game but also because we are delivering week in, week out. Even in the games we are maybe not at our best, we are still grinding and trying to fight until the last second. I think you can see that in every game. It\u2019s not about asking the people to go there, it\u2019s more if I can wish for something, but we try our best to get the people in BC Place for a reason.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

M\u00fcller spoke to reporters after training on Wednesday (Har Johal\/Daily Hive)<\/p>\n
The future of the Whitecaps in Vancouver remains uncertain. While the franchise simultaneously explores a long-term stadium solution and short-term bridge deals at BC Place, the club remains up for sale.\u00a0<\/p>\n
M\u00fcller has shown how much he enjoys Vancouver and being a part of the Whitecaps, so we wondered, has the 36-year-old been approached about becoming a part owner in the future?<\/p>\n
\u201cEven if there would be something going on, I wouldn\u2019t tell you here now,\u201d M\u00fcller said with a smile. \u201cYou\u2019ve never been in negotiations? Even if, I wouldn\u2019t tell you.\u201d<\/p>\n
He did speak on the momentum the club has gained.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Whitecaps are very important for the city,\u201d M\u00fcller said. \u201cThat\u2019s my feeling about this situation. It\u2019s not in our control, but I feel that we can provide something to get kind of a feeling going. I hope that the fans maybe also stand up a little bit more to avoid it. <\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know what\u2019s going on in the background, maybe they\u2019re trying to figure it out and they want to show that they want us in the city. It will be nice if we could see it and feel it even a little bit more. We do our part, the rest is future. I don\u2019t know what\u2019s going on in the background.\u201d<\/p>\n

M\u00fcller has scored three MLS goals this season, including a brace in a 3-0 win over Toronto FC on Feb. 28. Two of his tallies have been from the penalty spot. M\u00fcller has featured in all seven MLS matches, five shots on target in 489 minutes of play.<\/p>\n

I want to get a little bit more often into finishing spots. One of my biggest strengths is finishing in the box. <\/p>\n \u201cAt the moment I\u2019m more part of the higher build up. It\u2019s also important to create a lot of chances. We are the best offence in the league. In general there is nothing really to change or force to change, even if my numbers could be a little bit more shiny or more glamorous. <\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t really care about my numbers. I love to score goals. I love to make assists.
