This 1,825-square-foot unit in the two-tower Granite Place luxury condominium complex is just west of Yonge Street and south of tony Deer Park. One anxious buyer presented an offer right off the bat, and more than a dozen more potential buyers visited over the weekend. Three additional offers were presented on Monday. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe condo market has not been great for the last little while,\u201d agent Valerie Benchitrit said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were able to get the best price by having it on the market long enough to get enough showings and get competition going.\u201d<\/p>\n

Unwilling to risk losing this two-bedroom unit \u2013 one of the few corner units with southwest-facing views in the complex \u2013 one buyer raised their offer to $461,000 over the asking price. The bid was accepted.<\/p>\n

\u201cDownsizers wait for that kind of property, with prime, south-facing views of the city, a big terrace, big rooms and a great layout,\u201d co-listing agent Josie Stern said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe units on the corner also have wider terraces. You can get a table for eight out there.\u201d <\/p>\n

This roughly 50-year-old unit has floor-to-ceiling windows in each room, including the bedrooms, and a 25-foot-long terrace along the living room. <\/p>\n

There is a formal dining room and an eat-in kitchen with quartz countertops and a walk-in pantry. <\/p>\n

There\u2019s also a laundry closet and two full bathrooms. <\/p>\n

The unit comes with a storage locker and a parking spot. The monthly fees are hefty, at $2,422, but cover utilities, concierge, and amenities, including a pool.<\/p>\n
