She denied she did anything wrong. A judge sided with Kim and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2025\/02\/20\/kim-kardashian-sued-ivan-cantu-wrong-picture-death-row-inmate\/\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">dismissed all claims<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"continued\" class=\"continued-anchor\"\/><\/p>\n<p>After the win, Kim asked the court to order Ivan to pay $128K in legal bills she racked up fighting the lawsuit. She said that Ivan\u2019s lawsuit was \u201cclearly meritless\u201d and meant to thwart her constitutional right to speak out about matters of criminal justice reform.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe undoubtedly thought he could force a payout based on her celebrity and wealth,\u201d her lawyer added. \u201cBut his gambit failed, and now he refuses to accept the consequences of his actions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She said Ivan did not present a single valid argument for him not to have to pay the legal bill. Her lawyers scoffed at his appeals for sympathy and unsupported claims of inability to pay.<\/p>\n<p>Kim said Ivan should be on the hook for her legal bills and didn\u2019t agree with him that he shouldn\u2019t pay merely because he claims to lack financial means and sued someone who is financially successful.
