Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe says his “fire is burning very, very strongly” after being asked about his future at the club:<\/p>\n

\u201cI just want serve the club and do what\u2019s right for the football club. That\u2019s always been my aim. If that\u2019s me leaving to help the club, then of course that\u2019s something I\u2019ll do, I\u2019ve got no issue doing that.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s not about me. But if I believe I\u2019m the right person to take the club forward, which I do currently right now, then I\u2019ll do that and I\u2019ll fight to the end. <\/p>\n

“I\u2019ll fight harder than I\u2019ve ever fought before, but it\u2019s about making sure that those two things are aligned.”<\/p>\n

Channeling Mikel Arteta, following the comments made by the Arsenal coach this week, Howe says: \u201cIn terms of my fire, my fire is burning very, very strongly. <\/p>\n

“That\u2019s no guarantee from my side what\u2019s going to happen in the future because as I\u2019ve said, the forces that move in football clubs move quickly. <\/p>\n

“But my fire is there.
