It\u2019s not often that a unit comes on the market in the 18-unit townhouse complex near 25th Avenue and vibrant Main Street. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom, three-level townhouse, built in 1990, had been completely renovated with bamboo flooring and updated bathrooms and kitchen. <\/p>\n

The 1,358-square-foot unit is bright, with pot lights throughout and a deck and balconies that look onto the landscaped property. The unit comes with two parking stalls, and the building allows rentals and pets. <\/p>\n

The biggest feature, though, is the neighbourhood, which is within walking distance to the city\u2019s best restaurants, boutique shops and coffee shops, as well as schools and amenities.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is all about location, location, location,\u201d listing agent Dwayne Launt said.<\/p>\n

Mr. Launt had no problem selling the family-friendly townhouse. He received four offers after a realtor\u2019s preview and an open house on the weekend, with about 60 groups through the unit.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone was within range, and one person stepped up a little higher,\u201d he said of the bids. \u201cIt was one of those perfect storms: someone came in and said, \u2018This is exactly what we want. It\u2019s nicely renovated, with good flow.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr. Launt said he senses an uptick in the market. \u201cWe are seeing a lot more interest at the open houses. Our buyers and sellers are calling us up,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n
