Turns out it was part of Drake\u2019s new music video shoot.<\/p>\n<p>Residents were warned of loud noises, flashes of light and brief smoke in the area during pre-approved activities the week of April 13.<\/p>\n<p>Though no one knew what these activities were.<\/p>\n<p>One <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/askTO\/comments\/1snobm7\/explosion_at_downsview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Reddit<\/a> user wrote, \u201cThought it was thunder.\u201d Another added, \u201cI\u2019m at Keele and Wilson, and I was preoccupied with playing Leaf Green on my Switch.
