Arman Tsarukyan and Ryan Garcia are beefing over a bet.<\/p>\n

But now, Tsarukyan says Garcia is welching on the bet.<\/p>\n

\u201cBrother, he hasn\u2019t paid up,\u201d Tsarukyan said. \u201cNow, Khamzat [Chimaev] and I are going to go talk to Ryan Garcia \u2014 $40,000. \u2026 No, he didn\u2019t [pay]. There was a lot there. \u2018We\u2019ll count it now and bring it over.\u2019 They counted it and never brought it. \u2018We\u2019ll send it to your account.\u2019 \u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cHe said, \u2018I give you my word as a man, I\u2019ll send it to you.\u2019 Five days have passed, and he hasn\u2019t even texted, asking for [the] card number.\u201d<\/p>\n

Never one to stay quiet, Garcia responded via social media in a series of since-deleted posts (h\/t Championship Rounds<\/a>), first refusing to pay Tsarukyan before offering to fight instead.<\/p>\n

\u201cArman and his team, we can just set up a squabble between whoever on your team, no body shot things, just a fight. Not for $40K, for however much. I\u2019m not paying you shit, let\u2019s just fight. If any of you can win, I\u2019ll give you $100K.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRyan Garcia vs. Arman. $100K if he survives 8 rounds. We give him the money on stream. Time is ticking.\u201d<\/p>\n

As a result of admitting he welched on the bet, Garcia caught flak from several people on social media, and \u201cKing\u201d also posted responses to those claims as well<\/a>, also giving his reason for backing out of the bet: that he felt he got scammed by Tsarukyan.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, I don\u2019t care about you MMA nut smackers talking about real \u2018fight.\u2019 There\u2019s a reason MMA fighters can\u2019t box, because it\u2019s HARD to just use your hands. Grabbing, rolling on the floor for hours is something I\u2019m not trying to learn, but go off.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI actually got scammed [to be honest]. Not one mention his friend was a professional fighter. That right there is deceptive. So again, you guys can take sides, but I\u2019m not one to be played.\u201d<\/p>\n

Seems like Tsarukyan is probably out $40,000, but he did propose a new bet between the two combat stars.<\/p>\n
