Some downtown bus routes will operate on detours due to road closures.<\/p>\n<p>The race begins at West Georgia and Thurlow streets, just a short walk from Burrard Station on the Expo Line, making transit one of the most convenient ways to reach the starting line. The run finishes just outside BC Place Stadium, where customers can easily access the nearby Stadium\u2014Chinatown Station.<\/p>\n<p>Service changes on Sunday, April 19:<\/p>\n<p>    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.translink.ca\/schedules-and-maps\/west-coast-express\" title=\"Link to &#039;West Coast Express Schedules&#039; page on translink.ca - opens in same window.\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">West Coast Express<\/a>\u00a0will provide a special Sunday service.<\/p>\n<p>        The westbound train will depart from Mission City Station at 7 a.m.<br \/>\n        The eastbound train will depart from Waterfront Station at 1 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.translink.ca\/schedules-and-maps\/skytrain\" title=\"Link to &#039;SkyTrain Schedules&#039; page on translink.ca - opens in same window.\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">SkyTrain<\/a> service will start 30 minutes earlier than a usual Sunday, with extra trains running until mid-afternoon when the race is finished.<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.translink.ca\/schedules-and-maps\/bus-schedules\" title=\"Link to &#039;Bus Schedules&#039; page on translink.ca - opens in same window.\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bus<\/a>\u00a0service is being rerouted around road closures for the Sun Run to ensure efficient travel throughout downtown.
