Natalie Portman<\/a> is expecting her third child and her first baby with boyfriend Tanguy Destable.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/a>, Portman, 44, confirmed the news, saying, \u201cTanguy and I are very excited. I\u2019m just very grateful. I know it\u2019s such a privilege and a miracle.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant,\u201d the\u00a0Black Swan\u00a0actor, whose father is a fertility doctor, continued. \u201cI have so many people I love who\u2019ve had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Portman is also the mother of two children \u2014 Aleph, 14, and Amalia, 9 \u2014 from her previous marriage to Benjamin Millepied.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0May December\u00a0actor and Millepied divorced after 11 years of marriage in February 2024.<\/p>\n

The pair met on the set of the 2010 film Black Swan and wed in 2012. Millepied choreographed the film, for which Portman won the Oscar for best actress.<\/p>\n

Their divorce settlement came eight months after Portman quietly filed in 2023.<\/p>\n

Portman and Destable, a Paris-based music producer, were first spotted together<\/a> last March but have kept their romance out of the spotlight.<\/p>\n

During an interview with Jenna Ortega for Interview Magazine<\/a> last April, Portman spoke about wanting to keep her children out of the public eye.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not a particularly private person in real life\u2014I\u2019ll tell you anything\u2014but in public, it was so clear early on that if you tell people how private you are, your privacy gets respected a lot more,\u201d she explained. \u201cI set up a little bit of a barrier to be like, \u2018I\u2019m not going to do photo shoots with my kids.’\u201d<\/p>\n

She also said her children \u201care always a source of excitement, because you just see them develop into the individuals they are.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI was just excited to have kids, and with a person that I was in love with. But it\u2019s really important to have people in your life who keep you on the ground,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
