\n\tOn Sept. 17, the Latin Grammys<\/a> will reveal this year\u2019s nominees \u2014 including in the buzzy field of best new artist. The three artists below have the best shot of earning a nod in the category.<\/p>\n

\t\tKarina Sof\u00eda (Warner Music Latina)\t<\/p>\n

\n\tMexico\u2019s Karina Sof\u00eda delivers sophisticated fare anchored in her country\u2019s roots, both musically and conceptually, as heard on her debut album, La Reina del Ca\u00f1\u00f3n, which features more folk-based tracks like \u201cM\u00e1s Alto\u201d as well as decidedly alternative songs like \u201cLa\u00a0Loca\u201d (alongside Sof\u00eda Reyes). Already nominated for a Premio Lo\u00a0Nuestro earlier this year, Karina Sof\u00eda, 27, brings a distinctive sound and beautiful voice to the table, but her ace is being a prot\u00e9g\u00e9e of acclaimed producer Gustavo Santaolalla and the first artist he has produced in 13 years. Voters will take note.<\/p>\n

\t\tJudeline (Interscope)\t<\/p>\n

\n\tJudeline\u2019s single \u201cchica de cristal\u201d landed her on the Billboard list The 25 Best Latin Songs of 2025 So Far (Staff Picks)<\/a>. But her range can\u2019t be contained to or defined by one single, as evidenced by her major-\u00adlabel album debut, Bodhiria, that \u00adInterscope released last October. The 22-year-old Spanish singer-songwriter boasts an ethereal, ductile voice that sounds equally convincing singing solo with flamenco guitar accompaniment or over dance beats. Judeline may evoke comparisons to Rosal\u00eda with her flamenco base, but the result is all her own.<\/p>\n

\t\tAnnasof\u00eda (Universal Music Latin\/Arthouse)\t<\/p>\n

\n\tColombia\u2019s Annasof\u00eda is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. Like best new artist winners Joaquina and Ela Taubert, she came to Universal through producer Julio Reyes Copello\u2019s Art House Academy, which is on a roll with priming its artists for this category. Annasof\u00eda, 24, joins the ranks of contemporary women singer-songwriters with distinct voices targeting the pop market. However, she brings a more urban look and sound, infusing her songs with R&B and touches of melodic rap.<\/p>\n
