Ruby Rose wrote about the night Katy Perry allegedly sexually assaulted her<\/a> in a 2011 essay.<\/p>\n

In the resurfaced piece<\/a>, written for Australian news outlet news.com.au, she wrote about her journey to sobriety and details a drunken night out with the pop star.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had been off the grog for 30 days \u2014 my first attempt at sobriety \u2014 and I was out partying with Katy,\u201d Rose wrote at the time. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I do remember thinking was: \u2018I\u2019ll have a drink tonight, I deserve one. I mean, what\u2019s the worst that could happen?\u2019 Well, not stopping at one drink, or 10, and then vomiting on Katy\u2019s foot was the answer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Also in the essay, Rose wrote that the specific night out with Perry inspired her to stop drinking.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe short answer: I threw up on Katy Perry. And that\u2019s one of the reasons I\u2019ve been off the grog now for almost 90 days,\u201d she penned. <\/p>\n

\u201cBefore you jump to conclusions, nothing horrific happened, nor have I been hit with a DUI \u2014 but I just had enough, and it has been one of the best decisions of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Page Six has reached out to reps for Perry and Rose for comment, though Perry has vehemently denied Rose\u2019s accusations. <\/p>\n

The model accused the singer of sexual assault in a series of Threads posts on Sunday, and said the alleged incident occurred at a nightclub in Melbourne, Australia, when she was in her 20s.<\/p>\n

\u201cKaty Perry sexual assaulted me at spice market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a s\u2013t what she thinks,\u201d Rose\u00a0claimed in response<\/a>\u00a0to Complex Music\u2019s post about\u00a0Perry, 41, reacting to Justin Bieber\u2019s Coachella 2026 performance<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe didn\u2019t kiss me. She saw me \u2018resting\u2019 on my best friend\u2019s lap to avoid her and bent down, pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomited on her,\u201d she claimed about Perry in subsequent Threads messages.<\/p>\n

Rose alleged, \u201cAfter it I threw up on her, I told the story publicly but changed it to be a \u2018funny little drunk story\u2019 because I didn\u2019t know how else to handle it. Later she agreed to help me get my US visa. So I kept it a secret. But I DID tell yall she wasn\u2019t a good person. \u201d<\/p>\n

In another Threads message, Rose said it\u2019s taken her \u201calmost two decades\u201d to make the accusation public.<\/p>\n

\u201cThough I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault takes. Thank you for seeing me,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n

Perry\u2019s rep denied Rose\u2019s claim in a statement to Page Six.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous reckless lies,\u201d the rep said.<\/p>\n

\u201cMs. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named,\u201d the statement continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cMelbourne Sexual Offenses and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives are investigating a historical sexual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010,\u201d Acting Sergeant Paul Hogan of Victoria Police said in a statement to Page Six on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cPolice have been told the incident occurred at a licensed premises in Melbourne\u2019s Central Business District.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since Rose\u2019s bombshell claim, a former club manager for Spice Market has spoken out about the incident, claiming both women had \u201ctoo much to drink\u201d<\/a> the night the alleged assault took place. <\/p>\n
