SILVIS, Ill. \u2013 The Belmont women’s golf team aims for a conference title as they compete at the MVC Women’s Golf Championship held Sunday-Tuesday in Silvis, Illinois.<\/p>\n

The 2026 MVC Championship is a three-day, 54-hole event, with 18 holes contested on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.\u00a0 It will be held at a new venue, the TPC at Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois.\u00a0 Deere Run is the annual host of the John Deere Classic\u00a0 on the PGA Tour.\u00a0 It will be play to a par 72 and a length of 5,921 yards.<\/p>\n This will be the fourth MVC Championship that Belmont has competed.\u00a0 In three previous championships, their finishes were second (2023), fifth (2024, and sixth (2025).<\/p>\n First round play begins Sunday morning at 8:30am.\u00a0 Live scoring can be found at BelmontBruins.com.<\/p>\n Follow Belmont Women’s Golf on social media –\u00a0@BelmontWGolf on X and\u00a0@belmontwgolf on Instagram – for complete coverage of the Bruins. \n\tIn their final regular season event, the Bruins finished in fourth place at the Jan Weaver Invitational.\u00a0 Sophomore Sloane Biddle<\/a> led the team as she finished in fourth place with a score of 215.
\n\tWith her fourth place finish, Biddle earned MVC Co-Golfer of the Week award.\u00a0 It was the fourth time she had won the award this season and seventh overall in her career.
\n\tBiddle leads the team in scoring with a 73.3 average and has five top-finishes this season.\u00a0 She also has eight rounds of par or better, which ties the program’s single season record.
\n\tGraduate student Chloe Tarkany<\/a> is second on the team in scoring at 74.0 and has four top-10 finishes.\u00a0
