Race control immediately stopped the competition following the serious incident, and emergency vehicles arrived on scene soon after to assist.<\/p>\n<p class=\"w-full font-normal font-inter text-[16px] leading-[1.75] text-black break-words antialiased\">They were unable to save Miettinen, who was removed from the vehicle and passed away at a local medical center after unsuccessful resuscitation attempts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"w-full font-normal font-inter text-[16px] leading-[1.75] text-black break-words antialiased\">Miettinen was a Finnish amateur racer who h<a class=\"font-normal text-[#007daf] transition-none hover:underline hover:text-black\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DXPs4spEYbhtHySHA5swqIYjw7Srb9JeGw0BZI0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">ad planned to take part in two qualifying races at N\u00fcrburgring<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"w-full font-normal font-inter text-[16px] leading-[1.75] text-black break-words antialiased\">Four-time F1 champion Max Verstappen spoke about the accident in an Instagram Stories post, writing, \u201cShocked by what\u2019s happened today. Motorsport is something we all love, but in times like this it is a reminder of how dangerous it can be.
