\n\tThe F1 driver stars as the face of the new PUMA x Nahmias collection<\/a>, which combines the athleticism of the sporting brand and Nahmias<\/a>\u2018 laid-back West Coast roots<\/a>, with the \u201cspeed and style of motorsport.\u201d The collection includes a racing-inspired take on the PUMA Speedcat sneaker<\/a>, along with a tracksuit, jersey and T-shirts that merge the PUMA and Nahmias logos with a touch of \u201cracing DNA.\u201d As PUMA says in a press release, this is a lineup of products offers a \u201cfresh take on track-to-street style.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAccording to Nahmias founder and creative director, Doni Nahmias<\/a>, the choice of Leclerc for this campaign was a no-brainer, owing to the two\u2019s long standing relationship. \u201cCharles and I have been friends for a while\u00a0now,\u201d Nahmias tells Rolling Stone. \u201cWe have a lot of shared interests, like our love of wiener dogs and basketball, so it was an easy and natural friendship from the start.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWhen I began thinking about the campaign, I knew I wanted it to feel authentic; nothing\u00a0forced or overly constructed,\u201d he continues. \u201cCharles made\u00a0sense in\u00a0that way.\u00a0He\u2019s\u00a0also part of the PUMA family, so there was already a foundation there.
