This is not entirely a surprise, as many had predicted iOS 27 would be the earliest release of the advanced version of Siri, though many others were still looking keenly at each iOS 26 version to see if there were hints of it coming sooner.<\/p>\n As you\u2019ll know, an advanced version of Siri was announced in June 2024, only to be withdrawn later. Apple\u2019s latest confirmation for new Siri, with its game-changing use of Apple Intelligence, is that it will arrive some time in 2026.<\/p>\n WWDC 2026 Teaser: A Glimpse Of The New Interface<\/p>\n Now, Bloomberg\u2019s Mark Gurman, in the latest edition of his Power On newsletter<\/a> has said that Apple\u2019s teaser for WWDC26 \u201cprovides a glimpse of the revamped Siri interface coming in iOS 27,\u201d as he put it.<\/p>\n Well, that settles when it\u2019s coming. Not a later version of iOS 26, after all.<\/p>\n \u201cGurman says the new Siri design includes visual elements that resemble the glow effect seen in the WWDC26 poster art. It is reportedly most striking when the iPhone is used in dark mode, which is why the WWDC art used a black background,\u201d 9to5Mac<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n The glimpse, as revealed in a post on X<\/a> by Apple exec Greg Joswiak, for instance, shows a pulsing glow effect around the number 26.
