Further establishing their dominance, the pair have contested the previous two major finals, with Alcaraz beating Sinner in the French Open final<\/a>, before Sinner defeated Alcaraz in the Wimbledon final.<\/p>\n They\u2019ve been too good for their ATP Tour<\/a> rivals recently, but is there anyone doing the same in women\u2019s tennis?<\/p>\n A former Grand Slam semifinalist has now named the two players she believes are the \u2018Sinner and Alcaraz\u2019 of the WTA Tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n Andrea Petkovic claims Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka are the \u2018Sinner and Alcaraz\u2019 of the WTA Tour<\/p>\n During the latest episode of \u2018Becker Petkovic\u2019, former French Open semifinalist Andrea Petkovic<\/a> revealed who she believes are the two best players in the women\u2019s game.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve said it several times, for me, Aryna Sabalenka<\/a> and Iga Swiatek are the two best players in the world,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re like [Jannik] Sinner and [Carlos] Alcaraz<\/a>. The problem is, they\u2019re not as consistent as Sinner and Alcaraz at the Grand Slams.<\/p>\n \u201cThe others, the [Coco] Gauff\u2019s<\/a>, the [Jessica] Pegula\u2019s, can knock them out every now and then, which happens less with the men. But when she plays her best tennis, the mental strength, and the mentality she brings to the court, the intensity in every point, that reminds me of only one other player.
