{"id":618017,"date":"2026-04-21T04:06:13","date_gmt":"2026-04-21T04:06:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/618017\/"},"modified":"2026-04-21T04:06:13","modified_gmt":"2026-04-21T04:06:13","slug":"biker-babes-bound-for-vernon-bombshell","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/618017\/","title":{"rendered":"Biker babes bound for Vernon Bombshell"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>              Biker babes bound for Vernon Bombshell<\/p>\n<p class=\"pubStamp\">Published 8:00 pm Sunday, April 19, 2026<\/p>\n<p>The pedal power of women will on full display in Kal Park this summer.<\/p>\n<p>The Bombshell Women\u2019s Enduro is back for 2026, taking place June 20.<\/p>\n<p>The high-energy, women-powered mountain bike race brings together riders of all levels for a full day of progression, fun, and community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe anticipate 150 riders, most from out of town, and rely on about 60 volunteers,\u201d said organizer Jessica Morgan.<\/p>\n<p>Registration for both is open at vernonenduro.com, with $10 from every rider going back into local trails through the North Okanagan Cycling Society.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe event has been at Silverstar for the past few years but we are going back to our roots and having it back at Kal Park this year,\u201d said Morgan, a local biker and youth coach.<\/p>\n<p>Tourism Vernon has stepped up as title sponsor, but additional sponsors are always welcome to help empower more women.
