Garry Bhaura has been name chair of CREA.<\/p>\n
Garry Bhaura, a broker-owner from Brampton, has been elected chair of the board of directors of the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA).<\/p>\n
He was chosen for the role during the organization\u2019s recent annual general meeting.<\/p>\n
Bhaura, president and broker of record at RE\/MAX President Realty in Brampton, has 25 years of experience in the real estate industry.<\/p>\n
\u201cA recognized and authentic leader, Garry has earned numerous accolades throughout his career, including the prestigious Community Service Award from the Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC) and various industry honours,\u201d CREA said in a statement.<\/p>\n
Bhaura previously served as president of the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB) from 2018 to 2019. He has also served on several TRREB and CREA committees and was a director with REIC and the Asian Real Estate Association of America\u2019s Toronto chapter.<\/p>\n
