{"id":618337,"date":"2026-04-21T07:31:11","date_gmt":"2026-04-21T07:31:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/618337\/"},"modified":"2026-04-21T07:31:11","modified_gmt":"2026-04-21T07:31:11","slug":"breaking-police-seek-arrest-warrant-for-hybe-chairman-bang-si-hyuk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/618337\/","title":{"rendered":"[Breaking] Police seek arrest warrant for Hybe chairman Bang Si-hyuk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>       <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/news-p.v1.20260421.73a4838d481a44c0b0e91a4911373715_P1.jpg\" alt=\"Bang Si-hyuk, Hybe chair (Hybe)\"\/>     Bang Si-hyuk, Hybe chair (Hybe)  <\/p>\n<p>Police have sought an arrest warrant for Hybe Chairman Bang Si-hyuk, officials said Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency&#8217;s financial crimes investigation unit said it has booked Bang on charges of fraudulent and unfair trading and is moving to secure his custody.<\/p>\n<p>The move comes just a day after Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Commissioner Park Jung-bo said during a press briefing that the investigation into Bang was &#8220;essentially complete\u201d and could be concluded in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>Bang has been under investigation by the police on suspicion of violating the Capital Markets Act.
