An Ottawa man has been charged with arson after a business in Mississauga\u2019s northwest end was set ablaze once before two additional attempts were made to destroy the property, police say.<\/p>\n

Peel Regional Police said they\u2019re also on the hunt for a second suspect in connection with the arson investigation that\u2019s looking into the incidents at the Winston Churchill Boulevard\/Argentia Road area business in Meadowvale.<\/p>\n

On the morning of Sunday, March 16 just before 5:30 a.m., police responded to reports of a fire at an unoccupied business in Meadowvale.\u00a0There were no reported injuries and the culprits fled the area before police arrived.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince the initial incident, the same location has been targeted by two additional arson attempts,\u201d police said in a news release on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Kevin Paredes, 19, of Ottawa, is charged with arson and other alleged offences.<\/p>\n

Police made an arrest in the case last Friday.<\/p>\n

\nPossession of property obtained by crime<\/p>\n

Investigators are also seeking to identify an additional suspect believed to be involved in the incidents, police said.<\/p>\n

The suspect, pictured below, is described as a male with a fair complexion, in his late teens to early 20s, with a slim build, clean-shaven and with dark eyes. He was last seen wearing a black toque, black puffer jacket, black jeans and black Nike Air Force shoes.<\/p>\n
