Amanda is an excellent new addition into Eag Nation and we look forward to her impact on and off the field.”\u00a0<\/p>\n Raso brings more than a decade of collegiate and club coaching experience, along with a strong background in goalkeeper development, program leadership, and student-athlete growth.<\/p>\n Raso most recently served as an assistant coach at Chico State, where she helped guide the program to a second-place finish in the California Collegiate Athletic Association and a berth in the conference championship match. Prior to that, she was an assistant coach and interim head coach at Metropolitan State University of Denver, contributing to a third-place RMAC finish while assisting in all aspects of program operations.<\/p>\n She also spent four seasons as head coach at Western Colorado University, where she managed all facets of the program, including recruiting, player development, and fundraising. During her tenure, she coached multiple All-Conference and All-Academic honorees while emphasizing leadership development and mental performance.<\/p>\n At the Division I level, Raso served as an assistant coach at the University of North Dakota, where she helped the program achieve some of its most successful seasons, including its first conference tournament appearance. Her responsibilities included goalkeeper development, recruiting, and program operations.<\/p>\n Raso’s extensive goalkeeper experience also includes serving as Director of Goalkeeping for the Durango Youth Soccer Association, where she developed training curriculum, managed goalkeeper coaches, and led specialized sessions for multiple age groups.<\/p>\n In addition to her on-field coaching, Raso brings a strong academic and mental performance background. She holds a master’s degree in sport psychology from Lock Haven University and has worked as an adjunct professor and mental performance instructor, helping athletes build confidence and resilience.<\/p>\n She also holds multiple U.S. Soccer and United Soccer Coaches licenses, including a USSF B License and specialized goalkeeper diplomas.<\/p>\n Raso’s combination of technical expertise, leadership experience, and commitment to holistic student-athlete development will play a key role in the continued growth of the Eastern Washington soccer program.<\/p>\n Join the Eagle Athletic Fund for as low as $50 per year!
