Peel Regional Police have arrested a man and are searching for another in relation to an arson case in Mississauga.<\/p>\n

At 5:28 a.m. on March 16, police responded to calls about a fire at an unoccupied business near Winston Churchill Blvd. and Argentia Rd.<\/p>\n

The suspects fled before officers arrived. There were no reported injuries.<\/p>\n

Police said there have been two more attempted arsons at the same business since the initial police call.<\/p>\n

On April 17, police arrested 19-year-old Kevin Pardes of Ottawa and charged him with arson, break and enter, possession of break in instruments, disguise with intent, and possession of property obtained by crime.<\/p>\n

Cops are also searching for a second suspect and have released images.<\/p>\n

He is described as being in his late teens to early 20s, with a fair complexion, slim build, clean-shaven and dark eyes. He was seen wearing a black tuque, black puffer jacket, black jeans, and black Nike Air Force shoes.<\/p>\n

Police looking for suspected shooters in Oshawa<\/p>\n

Durham Regional Police are on the hunt for two suspects following a Saturday shooting in Oshawa.<\/p>\n

Officers were searching the area of Court and Bruce Sts. following reports of gunshots. They were then notified that a man was in hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. That man was later moved to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

Later on, police investigated a vehicle with a bullet hole and shattered windows near Harmony Rd. and King St. E. They found another man suffering from a gunshot wound in a residence. That man was moved to a hospital, also with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

Police are continuing to search for two suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Constable Pike at 905\u2011579\u20111520, ext. 2770.<\/p>\n
