THE CANADIAN PRESS\/Pierre Saint-Arnaud<\/p>\n<p>By The Canadian Press<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\tApr 21, 2026 | 12:38 PM\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>MONTR\u00c9AL \u2014 Lawyers for the City of Montreal asked the Court of Appeal on Tuesday to overturn a landmark class-action ruling on racial profiling by police, saying it\u2019s too complicated to determine how much each member is eligible to receive. <\/p>\n<p>The city is appealing a 2024 Superior Court ruling that determined Montreal police had a systemic racial profiling problem.
