Ringo Starr still loves sharing the stage with former Beatles bandmate<\/a> Paul McCartney!<\/p>\n

On Monday, April 20, the legendary drummer, 85<\/a>, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/a> and host Jimmy Kimmel pointed out that he had seen Starr at McCartney\u2019s concert \u201ca couple of weeks ago,\u201d seemingly referring to his show at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, California in March.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe played a theater, you know, for him, he\u2019s used to bigger places, but the band was great. He was great,\u201d Starr gushed. \u201cAll the seats were taken from the front, so they stood. The atmosphere, I loved it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m going to come cause I want to see him,\u201d the musician added.<\/p>\n

The TV personality also asked Starr if, when he\u2019s watching McCartney, 83, \u201cDo you go, like, \u2018I\u2019d like to get on stage\u2019 or are you happier watching?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve gone on stage with him four or five times,\u201d Starr laughed. \u201cIt\u2019s still great for me to play with Paul.\u201d<\/p>\n

When it comes to making new music together again, Starr and McCartney have actually teamed up for a duet on McCartney\u2019s upcoming album<\/a>, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, scheduled for release on May 29. Starr described the track, which is titled \u201cHome to Us,\u201d as \u201creally great.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s amusing, and it\u2019s very real cause that\u2019s where we come from,\u201d Starr told Kimmel.<\/p>\n
