One wealthy Surrey family is on the lookout for “live-in dog companion” to work at their luxury private estate. <\/p>\n

The successful applicant is being offered a generous \u00a360,000 salary, alongside free rent and bills in a cottage nestled in its grounds. <\/p>\n

The position – titled a Live-In Dog Companion and Estate Assistant – is full-time, with working hours listed as 9am to 6pm, Sunday to Thursday. <\/p>\n

However, the job advert notes that there is some flexibility depending on when the family is staying at the estate. <\/p>\n

If successful, the new recruit will be responsible for keeping the property in order when the family is away and help with day-to-day housekeeping and cooking.<\/p>\n

They will also be required to run errands in the local area, collect deliveries at the estate and get stuck in to maintainence the grounds.<\/p>\n

The family pooch is at the centre of the role – with the successful applicant tasked with feeding, grooming, overseeing their routine and managing the daily doggy diary. <\/p>\n

“The successful candidate will act as a guardian of the home, offering reassurance and attentive oversight of the property when principals are in residence or travelling.<\/p>\n

“This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys a calm, structured environment and takes pride in maintaining a welcoming and well-run home.”<\/p>\n

As well as seeking someone who is enthusiastic about dogs and animals, the family are on the lookout for a “warm, calm and dependable” character. <\/p>\n

However, current jobseekers need not apply, with Achieve Hospitality confirmed it was no longer looking at new submissions for the position. <\/p>\n

Principal consultant at the luxury recruitment firm, Jana Kocevska, wrote: “We’ve received thousands of applications, so we’re no longer accepting applications for this position.<\/p>\n
