But this will be their first outing on clay, which continues to be a surface that Boulter is improving on.<\/p>\n<p>Townsend so far has just played four tournaments, reaching the final in Austin in March. Boulter has been a lot more active, although her year continues to be a little up-and-down. She did win the title in Ostrava but although she reached the quarter-final in Rouen, she lost to Veronika P{odrez very handily.
