Just when the WNBA world thought Angel Reese<\/a>\u2019s offseason couldn\u2019t get any bigger, she dropped a surprise collaboration that has fans buzzing. What happens when one of the WNBA\u2019s most talked-about stars sits down with a former First Lady?<\/p>\n

\u201cTomorrow on IMO, @angel.reese joins us to chat WNBA, reality TV, and what it means to be unapologetically herself,\u201d wrote the official account. Reese talked about her experience of being a basketball star while simultaneously juggling her fashion career and cementing her legacy. In the short clip posted by the IMO account, Michelle Obama praised Reese in a manner that had her fans delighted.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are handling yourself beautifully,\u201d Obama said. \u201cI mean, it\u2019s not just what you do, but the way you carry yourself. Girl, I mean, it is really a joy to watch you manage it all and you do it with a smile on your face with an excellent attitude.\u201d To which Reese replied, \u201cThank you, so I am just honored to be coming from you. The Queen, the Queen, the Queen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Naturally, Reese\u2019s appearance on such a high-profile podcast and earning the praise of a former First Lady caught her fans by surprise, as they couldn\u2019t contain their excitement upon this announcement.<\/p>\n

Angel Reese Leaves Fans Buzzing After Michelle Obama\u2019s Powerful Praise<\/p>\n

BUT OH HOW BLESSED WE ARE.\u201d This is not a completely unexpected collaboration, as Michelle Obama has admitted to being a fan of the WNBA. She even advocated for the players when they were fighting for their new CBA. However, it does come out of the blue since Angel Reese fans were already dealing with her trade to the Atlanta Dream<\/a> and the start of the 2026 season. But it is a welcome development and Michelle Obama\u2019s immense praise for Reese also caught the attention of the fans.<\/p>\n
