Amanda Batula scolded West Wilson about disrespecting Ciara Miller on \u201cSummer House\u201d before they confirmed their romance.<\/a><\/p>\n

During Tuesday\u2019s episode, which was filmed mid-August,\u00a0Batula told Wilson that while he was supporting her in her relationship with now-estranged husband Kyle Cooke<\/a>, she was having a hard time doing the same in his dynamic with Miller.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat upset me the most was you\u2019ve been such a good friend to me all summer long,\u201d Batula told the sports journalist. \u201cLike, it bothers you when you see Kyle disrespect me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Batula continued, \u201cFor someone who\u2019s been so supportive of me and looking out for me and standing up for me, to watch you disrespect Ciara in that way, it just puts this weird dynamic in place.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wilson, 31, agreed with his now-girlfriend and called himself \u201ca f\u2013king idiot\u201d for how he handled the aftermath of his split from Miller, 30.<\/p>\n

Batula then advised Wilson to \u201ctake accountability\u201d and \u201capologize\u201d to her best friend, which he did in an emotional sit-down with Miller later in the episode.<\/p>\n

Miller admitted that she was \u201cscared to be nice\u201d to Wilson because she didn\u2019t want to \u201cembarrass\u201d herself, as Wilson apologized for flirting with another woman the weekend before and for bringing Miller home to meet his family before they broke up.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know that was probably such a mindf\u2013k and I just want you to know that I thought about that a lot and I understand a lot of things better than I did,\u201d Wilson told her.<\/p>\n

The duo then agreed to be \u201cbest friends\u201d again and embraced in a long hug as Miller cried.<\/p>\n

Over six months after that scene was filmed, Wilson and Batula confirmed their romance in a joint Instagram statement on March 31.<\/p>\n

The duo<\/a>, without naming Miller, said it \u201cwas never [their] intention to purposely hide\u201d their relationship and \u201cnever wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.\u201d<\/p>\n

Miller broke her silence<\/a> about her co-stars\u2019 relationship in an interview with Glamour<\/a> last week, admitting that she feels more betrayed by Batula than Wilson.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just never would think that it would come from someone like Amanda, who has been what has felt like in my circle and in my corner for so long,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Wilson, meanwhile, defended dating Batula<\/a> and insisted \u201cthere was no overlap\u201d between the two romances on Monday\u2019s episode of his podcast.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe realized things were maybe a little bit serious in February, and that\u2019s when this all started,\u201d he explained about himself and Batula. \u201cThere\u2019s not a whole lot more to it than that.\u201d<\/p>\n
