Edmonton police (EPS) have charged a 21-year-old daycare employee in connection with a sexual assault case.<\/p>\n
EPS said they received a 911 call from a parent reporting an incident involving their child at a west Edmonton daycare. <\/p>\n
\u201cThrough investigative measures, officers identified a teaching assistant as the suspect, who was then suspended by his employer. His childcare certification has also been suspended,\u201d EPS said in a press release.<\/p>\n
Kulraj Singh was arrested and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference. He was released on bail with conditions.<\/p>\n
According to EPS, Singh also worked at a second daycare in central Edmonton and they believe there may be other victims.<\/p>\n
