The Indonesian was pegged back after going a break up in the first set, though won the final three games to take the lead. Tjen then opened up a 4-0 lead in the second as she sealed a 6-4 6-2 win after one hour and 22 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Liudmila Samsonova is her next opponent. Samsonova ended a six-match losing run in Stuttgart last week, defeating Antonia Ruzic in her first-round match. She then pushed Coco Gauff in the first set of her next encounter, but Gauff would go on to win comfortably. It\u2019s been a difficult season for Samsonova up to this point, with 10 defeats from 15 matches overall.<\/p>\n<p>She will take some confidence from the previous meeting between the pair, which saw Samsonova cruise to 6-2 6-2 win at the Abu Dhabi Open earlier this year.
