Dave Grohl shared how he connects with his wife, Jordyn Blum<\/a>, and their three kids a year and a half after he fathered a child with another woman<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first thing I do when I come home from being on tour is I like to cook for the family,\u201d the Foo Fighters frontman, who has daughters<\/a> Violet Maye, 20,\u00a0Harper Willow, 17, and\u00a0Ophelia Saint, 11, with Blum, told \u201cThe Dish\u201d podcast<\/a> Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhether it\u2019s making a roast over the weekend or it\u2019s a pasta, I usually bring the comfort,\u201d he added. \u201cLike, I\u2019m home and I bring the comfort to the kids.\u201d<\/p>\n

Grohl had to fight to keep his family together after he announced that he fathered a fourth child with a woman who was not his wife. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,\u201d he\u00a0wrote on Instagram<\/a> in September 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cI plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

In February 2025, Page Six exclusively confirmed that Jennifer Young was the mother<\/a> of Grohl\u2019s fourth child.<\/p>\n

Young and the baby girl \u2014 whose name she did not disclose due to \u201creally angry fans\u201d \u2014 had been living in Los Angeles with her mother.<\/p>\n

The affair was really \u201crough\u201d<\/a> on Blum, according to insiders. At one point, she stopped wearing her wedding ring<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, last March, a source told Us Weekly that the actress, 49, decided to give their marriage a second chance<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cJordyn has forgiven Dave and is trying to move on,\u201d the insider told the outlet.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is [still] completely devastated by the situation but is standing by his side<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source added that Grohl and Blum \u2014 who wed in 2003 \u2014 are \u201cgoing to counseling\u201d and that the rock star \u201chas been doing anything he can to win back Jordyn\u2019s trust.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNeither of them wants the family broken,\u201d the insider added.<\/p>\n
