Two of the national NASCAR series head to the biggest track on the schedule this weekend. They will compete at Talladega Superspeedway<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The O’Reilly Auto Parts Series teams will be in action on Friday and Saturday as they qualify and race. The Cup Series teams<\/a> will be in action on Saturday and Sunday as they qualify and race. The Jack Link’s 500 weekend will not feature practice sessions.<\/p>\n

ARCA Menards Series teams will also compete this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway. They will practice on Friday and then race on Saturday. They will not have traditional qualifying.<\/p>\n

Friday forecast:<\/a>\u00a0The WeatherUnderground forecast calls for mostly sunny skies throughout the day. A high of 84 degrees and a 6% chance of rain.<\/p>\n

Saturday forecast:<\/a>\u00a0The forecast calls for rain showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. A high of 77 degrees and a 57% chance of rain at the start of the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race.<\/p>\n

Sunday forecast:<\/a>\u00a0The forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies throughout the day with some early fog. A high of 81 degrees and an 11% chance of rain at the start of the Cup Series race.<\/p>\n
