MOSCOW, Idaho\u00a0\u2013\u00a0The Idaho Men’s Tennis team\u00a0concluded its 2025-26 season against Montana State at the Big Sky Conference Tournament.\u00a0

Looking to get payback after their\u00a0previous\u00a0matchup with the Bobcats, the Vandals entered\u00a0doubles play with high energy. The Brave and Bold went serve for serve with MSU\u00a0throughout the exchange. Chetanna Amadike<\/a>\u00a0and Gabriel Moroder<\/a> were in full swing,\u00a0putting\u00a0their doubles\u00a0All-Conference talent on display and winning the\u00a0contest, 6-2.\u00a0 On court two,\u00a0Mikolaj Lis<\/a> and Noe De Col<\/a> also\u00a0gave\u00a0the\u00a0Cats\u00a0a run for their money. The two teams traded\u00a0game for\u00a0game\u00a0early\u00a0to\u00a0move the score to\u00a03-3.\u00a0The Vandals\u00a0caught fire\u00a0from there\u00a0and never looked back,\u00a0taking the next three\u00a0for a final\u00a0of\u00a06-3.\u00a0This clinched the doubles point for\u00a0Idaho and moved along to singles play.\u00a0 In the solo matches, Valentine Glasl was\u00a0hungry for\u00a0a\u00a0Vandal Victory on court six. The UI\u00a0freshman\u00a0found himself down\u00a0a break in the first set, two games to nil.\u00a0He\u00a0stood firm and went on to win eight straight games to take the first set and\u00a0the lead in the second set.\u00a0Glasl\u00a0rode the momentum from there to clinch the\u00a0contest in two sets.\u00a0 Despite\u00a0these\u00a0efforts,\u00a0the Vandals were unable to\u00a0proceed\u00a0to the next round of the tournament, falling to Montana State 4-2.\u00a0However, after the match, the Vandals\u00a0expressed their gratitude to all the Vandal Family supporters who were there. They went\u00a0on to have one final team meeting as the\u00a0brothers they\u00a0had\u00a0become\u00a0this season. They\u00a0exchanged heartfelt words,\u00a0memories, and most of all,\u00a0gratitude,\u00a0as they reflected on the\u00a0journey\u00a0they had been on over the past year. In the end, Chetanna Amadike<\/a>\u00a0gave his final speech as the Idaho Men’s Tennis\u00a0captain.
