One person died following a crash on Highway 33 (Bath Road) in the Bath area early Thursday morning.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, April 23, 2026, at approximately 12:00 a.m., members of the Lennox and Addington County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call reporting a single vehicle collision where a motorcycle went into a guardrail.<\/p>\n

As a result of the collision, the 27-year-old driver from the City of Brampton was pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n

Bath Road remained closed in both directions for several hours between Sir John Johnson Drive and Lennox and Addington County Road 4 for the on-site investigation, with assistance from the OPP Technical Collision Investigation and Reconstruction teams. Bath Road reopened shortly before 6 am.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information or video footage of the incident is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122, or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at ontariocrimestoppers.ca.<\/p>\n
