{"id":625716,"date":"2026-04-24T14:37:11","date_gmt":"2026-04-24T14:37:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/625716\/"},"modified":"2026-04-24T14:37:11","modified_gmt":"2026-04-24T14:37:11","slug":"liberty-tennis-summer-camps-registration-now-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/625716\/","title":{"rendered":"Liberty Tennis Summer Camps Registration Now Open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LYNCHBURG, Va.\u00a0\u2013 Liberty Tennis will be hosting a pair of summer camps at the Liberty Tennis Complex this Summer. <a href=\"https:\/\/campscui.active.com\/orgs\/DerekSchwandtTennisLLC?newcui=true&amp;e4q=ac7aa4de-86da-4963-aa58-454cf264be66&amp;e4p=0a1993f9-9199-40fa-99ee-6f9eaf963ae2&amp;e4ts=1776963852&amp;e4c=active&amp;e4e=snlvcmpscui00001load&amp;e4rt=Safetynet&amp;e4h=620037f03d0c6e5ae5b63b27fb9cff21\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Registration<\/a> is now open for both camps, with overnight options available.<\/p>\n<p>The camps are open to girls and boys ages 5-18.&#13;\n<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tSession 1: June 13-17 ($375 Day Camp, $925 Overnight)&#13;<br \/>\n\tSession 2: July 15-19 ($375 Day Camp, $925 Overnight)&#13;<\/p>\n<p>The pair of camps will be directed by Liberty Men&#8217;s Tennis Head Coach, <a href=\"https:\/\/libertyflames.com\/sports\/mens-tennis\/roster\/coaches\/derek-schwandt\/2536\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"2536\" target=\"_blank\">Derek Schwandt<\/a>. Instructors will include Liberty tennis coaches along with current and former Flames men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s tennis student-athletes serving as instructors.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Come experience Liberty University&#8217;s mission of Training Champions for Christ with the Liberty tennis team,&#8221; said Schwandt. &#8220;We provide top-notch instruction and share our Liberty tennis team culture with the campers. Campers will get to know the university throughout the week, and the camp will be a lot of fun.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The camps will be held at the Liberty Tennis Complex on the outdoor stadium courts as well as at the six-court Liberty Indoor Tennis Center.<\/p>\n<p>Camps are open to girls and boys ages 6-18.
