Coros and Wahoo are making a splash here at the London Marathon race weekend. The two sports hardware brands have teamed up to give athletes better cohesiveness between Coros\u2019s wearables and Wahoo\u2019s training hardware, trainers and treadmills. Taking over a large chunk of \u201cProtein Studios\u201d in London, Coros and Wahoo made a show out of their partnership announcement on Friday.<\/p>\n

Wahoo and Coros have created a two-way API integration that allows activity files recorded on both brands\u2019 devices to seamlessly upload to both the Coros training platform and the Wahoo app. This means if you have a Coros watch and you regularly use the Wahoo training app, your workouts will upload right away. Similarly, if you happen to track a workout on a fancy new Wahoo Kickr Run treadmill, but all your other runs are tracked from your Coros watch, you will have seamless integration between both platforms. In short, you\u2019ll never again have to worry about losing the data from your runs.<\/p>\n

More importantly, this connectivity will help runners who prefer the treadmill to track exact data rather than playing the indoor-running guessing game. Coros watches can now connect with the Kickr Run treadmill, where accurate data displayed on the watch is sent directly from the treadmill via Bluetooth. The function will help athletes to feel confident in the data they\u2019re getting from indoor runs without the need for additional sensors.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It will now be easier than ever to purchase a Coros watch, as Wahoo will now sell both the Coros Pace 4 (a lightweight GPS watch) and the Apex 4 (a mountain-sport GPS watch) directly from WahooFitness.com. You\u2019ll also be able to access custom Wahoo-themed watch faces on your Coros app and customize your watch further with special Wahoo watch straps, which will be available this year.<\/p>\n

Currently, it is not possible to purchase a Wahoo Kickr Run treadmill in Canada for personal use, however some indoor training facilities in the Toronto area have these treadmills for members\u2019 use. According to Wahoo\u2019s website, the Kickr Run treadmill will be coming to select markets in 2026. Hopefully this means more Canadians will soon be able to take advantage of this Wahoo and Coros collaboration. Wahoo says that expansion plans for the Canadian market are a top priority, and are working quickly to be able to start distribution before the end of 2026.<\/p>\n

The Coros Pace 4 will also be getting some fresh new colours this week. Black\/Crystal is available now on Coros.com. This new colour not only looks fantastic, but features an aluminum bezel for a refined new look and added durability.<\/p>\n
