The Mizzou men’s golf team completed its 2025-26 season at the SEC Championship on Friday, placing 15th at the conference\u00a0 tournament.<\/p>\n
Freshman Esteban Cruz Bonilla<\/a> led the Tigers throughout the tournament, placing first on the team and 35th overall with a final two-under tally. It marked the first time that Cruz Bonilla led the Tigers at a tournament this season and the first time a freshman led Mizzou at the SEC Championship since 2023 as he added a final-round 71 for his two-under score (68-69-71).<\/p>\n Senior Virgilio Paz<\/a> was second on the team at +1 (64-75-72), highlighting the final day with an eagle three on the par-5 15th hole. Junior Veikka Viskari<\/a> was third for Mizzou at +3 (69-74-70), leading the Tigers with a final round at even par.
