No. 1 Keiser women’s tennis\u00a0captured the Sun Conference Tournament Championship for the eighth consecutive year, sweeping No. 4 Southeastern 4-0 Friday morning.\u00a0The Seahawks improved to 20-1 and handed the Fire their fifth loss of the season, defeating Southeastern in the tournament final for the third straight year.\u00a0Keiser has not dropped a single point in Sun Conference Tournament play over the last four years.\u00a0The Seahawks secured the doubles point behind two convincing court victories, then carried that momentum into singles, closing out the title on court six.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We didn’t play our best tennis by any means, but I’m very proud of how the girls handled themselves, executed in key moments, and controlled their emotions regardless of the situation. Really good performance today. Proud of this group and ready to get to work for nationals.”<\/p>\n
