\n\tHelena Bonham Carter<\/a> is exiting the cast of \u201cThe White Lotus<\/a>\u201d Season 4, Variety has confirmed.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWith filming just underway on season four of \u2018The White Lotus,\u2019 it had become apparent that the character which Mike White<\/a> created for Helena Bonham Carter did not align once on set,\u201d HBO<\/a> said in a statement. \u201cThe role has subsequently been rethought, is being rewritten and will be recast in the coming weeks. HBO, the producers and Mike White are saddened that they won\u2019t get to work with her, but remain ardent fans and very much hope to work with the legendary actress on another project soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBonham Carter was announced<\/a> as part of the upcoming cast in January. Besides Bonham Carter, the full cast for Season 4 has been revealed to include Vincent Cassel, Steve Coogan, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Dylan Ennis, Corentin Fila, Ari Graynor, Marissa Long, Alexander Ludwig, Chris Messina, AJ Michalka, Kumail Nanjiani and Nadia Tereszkiewicz. Additional cast includes Chloe Bennet, Sandra Bernhard, Heather Graham, Max Greenfield, Frida Gustavsson, Charlie Hall, Jarrad Paul, Rosie Perez, Ben Schnetzer and Laura Smet.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 4 takes place in France, including Paris and multiple locations along the French Riviera. Series creator Mike White is the writer, director, and executive producer. David Bernad and Mark Kamine also executive produce.<\/p>\n

\n\tLast week, HBO announced<\/a> that filming had officially begun on the French Riviera.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe fourth season will follow a new group of White Lotus hotel guests and employees over the span of a week, taking place during the Cannes Film Festival,\u201d the official synopsis reads. Hotels featured include the Airelles Ch\u00e2teau de la Messardi\u00e8re as the White Lotus du Cap and the H\u00f4tel Martinez as the White Lotus Cannes. In addition to Cannes, the season will film in St. Tropez, Monaco and Paris, though the story will remain set in the C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn TV, Bonham Carter is a five-time Emmy nominee, including two for \u201cThe Crown\u201d along with \u201cMerlin,\u201d \u201cLive From Baghdad,\u201d and \u201cBurton and Taylor.\u201d She has received two Oscar nominations in her career \u2014 one for best supporting actress for \u201cThe King\u2019s Speech\u201d and the other for best actress for \u201cThe Wings of the Dove.\u201d She is also a nine-time Golden Globe nominee. Her other film credits include \u201cFight Club\u201d and the \u201cHarry Potter\u201d film franchise.<\/p>\n
