{"id":627709,"date":"2026-04-25T12:47:09","date_gmt":"2026-04-25T12:47:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/627709\/"},"modified":"2026-04-25T12:47:09","modified_gmt":"2026-04-25T12:47:09","slug":"you-can-run-but-you-cant-hide-anthony-joshua-sent-warning-by-heavyweight-rival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/627709\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;You can run but you can&#8217;t hide&#8221;: Anthony Joshua sent warning by heavyweight rival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of <a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/boxer\/anthony-joshua\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Anthony Joshua<\/a>\u2018s most fierce rivals has sent a warning to the British heavyweight.<\/p>\n<p>Joshua is expected to fight twice this year, first in a warm-up in the summer and then in a long-awaited showdown against <a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/boxer\/tyson-fury\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tyson Fury<\/a> towards the end of the calendar.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018AJ\u2019 has boxed only once since a devastating knockout defeat to <a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/boxer\/daniel-dubois\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Daniel Dubois<\/a> back in September 2024, with that solitary outing coming <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/sport\/boxing\/articles\/cy8j2zvxzy1o\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">in an uncompetitive six round stoppage win against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, following the comeback of \u2018The Gypsy King\u2019 earlier this month, all signs are pointing to one of the biggest fights in the history of British boxing, with Fury vs Joshua now back on the cards and reportedly nearing an agreement.<\/p>\n<p>First, Joshua hopes to shake off any ring rust by returning to fight in the summer, but he will presumably pick an opponent whom he does not believe can scupper plans for a Fury fight, but also one that properly motivates him.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, Jarrell \u2018Big Baby\u2019 Miller could make for the perfect dance partner given their rivalry which was birthed ahead of their scheduled meeting in 2019, before Miller tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@matchroom\/video\/7631694699123756301?is_from_webapp=1&amp;sender_device=pc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Matchroom<\/a>, with whom Miller has recently teamed up with, the American told Joshua that he is going to get \u2018whooped\u2019 sooner or later.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Your] a** whooping gon\u2019 come sooner or later.
