{"id":628198,"date":"2026-04-25T17:58:10","date_gmt":"2026-04-25T17:58:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/628198\/"},"modified":"2026-04-25T17:58:10","modified_gmt":"2026-04-25T17:58:10","slug":"steinbach-receives-67k-for-tree-planting-at-soccer-park-steinbachonline-com","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/628198\/","title":{"rendered":"Steinbach receives $67K for tree planting at Soccer Park &#8211; SteinbachOnline.com"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The City of Steinbach has secured funding to add more trees to one of its busiest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steinbach.ca\/experience-steinbach\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">outdoor recreation spaces.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mayor Earl Funk says the grant, provided through the Green Municipal Fund and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, will support new tree planting at the Steinbach Soccer Park.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have been approved for a grant for the amount of $67,160. That will plant a fair number of trees in the soccer park.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Soccer Park spans approximately 40 acres, with about 25 acres already developed into a major outdoor soccer facility.
