Joe Rogan has shared some interesting thoughts about the Greatest of All Time debate in the UFC heavyweight division.<\/p>\n
Rogan, who has spent years as a color commentator for the UFC, got into the topic during a conversation with rapper Action Bronson on his podcast.<\/p>\n
He shared his belief that there is no singular GOAT in the heavyweight division, as many of the weight class\u2019s best fighters could beat each other on any given night.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t think there\u2019s a real GOAT in heavyweight, because there\u2019s times where one guy would have beaten all the other guys,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

That being said, there are a few names Rogan believes belong in the conversation.<\/p>\n
One is former champ Cain Velasquez.<\/p>\n
\u201cI love Cain,\u201d he said. \u201cHe\u2019s in there, he\u2019s in the GOAT category.<\/p>\n
\u201cPrime Cain against anyone ever\u2026 who knows?\u201d he added. \u201cPrime Cain was an unstoppable tornado of punches and takedowns. No fatigue. It\u2019s not coming. You think he\u2019s going to get tired, he\u2019ll never get tired.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rogan also gave some love to former champ Stipe Miocic, who holds the distinction of most consecutive title defenses in UFC heavyweight history.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019ve got to put Stipe in there because he defended the heavyweight title more than anybody,\u201d he said. \u201cHe beat Ngannou when Ngannou was in his prime, and got rocked a bunch of times and came back. You\u2019ve got to give it to him. He\u2019s always going to be in the GOAT category.\u201d<\/p>\n
Another fighter who is often hailed as the greatest heavyweight in MMA history is Russia\u2019s Fedor Emelianenko. While he never fought in the UFC, Rogan was happy to give him his flowers.<\/p>\n
\u201cFedor, of course,\u201d he said. \u2018The real connoisseur, the real hardcore MMA heads, they\u2019re like \u2018Fedor is the GOAT.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
The final name Rogan included in his heavyweight GOAT category is Brazil\u2019s Fabricio Werdum. As he pointed out, Werdum actually beat many of the other fighters in the conversation.<\/p>\n
\u201cI always say everyone forgets about Fabricio Werdum,\u201d he said. \u201cFabricio Werdum tapped Cain Velasquez, \u2018Minotauro\u2019 Nogueira, and Fedor. He tapped Fedor when Fedor was Fedor.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen you look at Fabricio Werdum in his prime, he\u2019s in that range. He beat Cain Velasquez, he beat Mark Hunt with a flying knee to win the title. Bro, he beat the best of the best. He beat them all, and he tapped three of the all time greats.\u201d<\/p>\n
