{"id":629083,"date":"2026-04-26T03:52:10","date_gmt":"2026-04-26T03:52:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/629083\/"},"modified":"2026-04-26T03:52:10","modified_gmt":"2026-04-26T03:52:10","slug":"police-incident-at-joyce-collingwood-skytrain-station","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/629083\/","title":{"rendered":"Police incident at Joyce-Collingwood SkyTrain Station"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>1130 NewsRadio has received multiple reports of a police incident at the Joyce-Collingwood SkyTrain Station in Vancouver on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Images from the scene, provided by residents in the neighbourhood, show police cruisers and ambulances located at the Vanness Avenue side of the station.<\/p>\n<p>Police officers seem to have taped off an area outside the station, near the entrance to the station and next to the waiting area for the R4 bus going to UBC.<\/p>\n<p>Edison, one resident living across the station on Vanness Avenue, tells 1130 NewsRadio that he saw an \u201cassault that had taken place\u201d at around 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/EWP-20260425_182453_0873-X-T5-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Police incident at Joyce-Collingwood SkyTrain Station\" class=\"wp-image-4424574\"  \/>Police incident at Joyce-Collingwood SkyTrain Station.
