Victoria Beckham was the belle of the ball in Manhattan this week as she launched her Gap collection<\/a> \u2014 which sold out almost immediately Friday \u2014 and was feted as one of Time\u2019s 100 most influential people.<\/p>\n

As usual, the trip was a family affair, with doting husband David, son Cruz, 21, and mini-me daughter Harper, 14, in tow for a fashion launch party at private club People\u2019s and dinners at trendy hot spots Coqodaq and Salam.<\/p>\n

But behind the smiles, Victoria is still reeling over the ongoing estrangement<\/a> from her oldest son Brooklyn, 27, who was busy cooking pasta <\/a>online at his Los Angeles home.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything\u2019s going really well \u2014\u00a0but Brooklyn\u2019s not there,\u201d said a source in the know, who insisted the family will \u201cnever give up hope\u201d of reuniting with their boy.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been almost a year since David, 50, and Victoria, 52, have had any contact with their son, Page Six can reveal, and insiders said the Beckhams are shocked and \u201csaddened\u201d the freeze-out has lasted this long.<\/p>\n

Hopes that relations will be repaired in time for the World Cup in June, when the family will set up camp in the US, are now fading. \u201cEverything is frozen in place,\u201d said one insider.<\/p>\n

We can reveal that Brooklyn has only kept in touch, by text, with his grandparents \u2014 his dad\u2019s mom, Sandra, and Victoria\u2019 parents, Jackie and Tony \u2014\u00a0and even that is infrequent.<\/p>\n

Brooklyn made headlines in January when he publicly condemned Victoria and David, accusing them of putting the Beckham brand before their children in a devastating statement on social media.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do not want to reconcile with my family. I\u2019m not being controlled, I\u2019m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,\u201d he wrote at the time.<\/p>\n

His wife, Nicola Peltz-Beckham, 31, is still believed to have a firm hand in keeping the family at odds. \u201cShe doesn\u2019t think his family is good for him.\u201d the insider told us.<\/p>\n

But another source clarified: \u201cIt\u2019s not just Nicola \u2026 Brooklyn did edit [the statement], he owned it fully \u2026 they\u2019re not going to make up any time soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere were points last year when an apology [from David and Victoria] would have worked, but not now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brooklyn\u2019s absence in the once very close family has been conspicuous<\/a> as he has missed important events including his mother\u2019s fashion shows, David\u2019s star-studded 50th birthday bash and even celebrations for the former footballer\u2019s knighthood ceremony. While Cruz and Romeo honored their mom\u2019s 52nd birthday earlier this month with social media posts \u2014\u00a0and both parents have continued to post old photos of Brooklyn \u2014 he has stayed quiet.<\/p>\n

While Victoria was selling her Gap range, Brooklyn was busy promoting his hot sauce, Cloud 23, by making pasta online with pal and investor Zach Lu. Brooklyn Peltz Beckham\/Instagram<\/p>\n

Promoting her Gap range, which is the first of a multi-season partnership, Victoria made a pit stop Tuesday at \u201cToday with Jenna & Sheinelle,\u201d where she was asked about her \u201cpretty challenging year.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe always put our children first,\u201d Victoria replied. \u201cWe love our children so much and have always really focused on protecting our children \u2026 \u201c<\/p>\n

As Page Six previously revealed, things went downhill even before Brooklyn and Nicola\u2019s wedding<\/a> at the Palm Beach estate owned by her billionaire parents, Nelson and Claudia Peltz, in April 2022. To this day, the situation is rife with conflicting reports from both sides.<\/p>\n

Victoria, who has her own atelier, failed to make her daughter-in-law\u2019s wedding gown as promised, only calling Claudia to break the news a few months before the wedding, according to Peltz sources.<\/p>\n

This prompted Claudia to fly Nicola and\u00a0stylist Leslie Fremar to Rome, where former Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli took the reins.<\/p>\n

David threw the first of a slew of 50th birthday celebrations last year in Miami, on March 30 at Cipriani Downtown. But son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola failed to show up, citing work commitments. In his six-page Instagram Stories diatribe in January,<\/a> Brooklyn accused his mom of pulling out of making the dress at the last minute, however, this was seemingly contradicted\u00a0by an interview Nicola and Fremar gave to Vogue, where they said the gown had been a long time in the making.<\/p>\n

The fashion bible noted they made two trips to Rome and had two fittings in the United States.<\/p>\n

Victoria also rang Fremar and said \u201cMaybe I should wear Valentino, too,\u201d before eventually wearing a dress from her own collection.<\/p>\n

\u201cit was just a comment, but kind of strange,\u201d said a Peltz source.<\/p>\n

We also revealed how Victoria allegedly \u201cnuzzled\u201d into Brooklyn\u2019s neck<\/a> as she danced with him at the wedding, leaving Nicola in tears.<\/p>\n

Brooklyn claimed his mom \u201chijacked\u201d his first dance with his wife and alleged his parents have been \u201ctrying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding\u201d<\/p>\n

Things came to a halt last year in the run up to David\u2019s string of 50th birthday celebrations, which started with a party in Miami on March 30<\/a>, over a month ahead of his actual May 2 birthday. Held at Cipriani Downtown Miami, the exclusive event was hosted by Victoria and attended by celebrities including Lionel Messi, Tom Brady and Shaquille O\u2019Neal.<\/p>\n

Brooklyn and Nicola did not attend \u2014 which, at first, we were told was due to work commitments.<\/p>\n

But then Brooklyn failed to join a boys\u2019 fishing trip to the Scottish Highlands for David and his sons; a big family party at the Beckhams\u2019 converted barn in the Cotswalds; a trip to a vineyard in Bordeaux followed by a night in Paris; and a lavish dinner.<\/p>\n

In fact, Brooklyn and Nicola had actually flown to London and prepared to join the Beckhams for at least a few of the events before apparently changing their minds.<\/p>\n

After a week, the couple flew back to their Los Angeles home on May 3 without seeing the family at all, leaving just a couple of hours before A-listers including Tom Cruise<\/a>, Gordon Ramsay and Eva Longoria \u2014 all of whom Brooklyn had been close to since childhood \u2014 gathered at a friends and family dinner at Core restaurant in London\u2019s Notting Hill.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey flew to London and there was a girl, Kim, that Brooklyn had a past with,\u201d a Peltz source told us, citing Cruz Beckham\u2019s on-off girlfriend Kim Turnbull. \u201cAnd he was uncomfortable being in the same room with her \u2026 He called his dad and said \u2018We\u2019ll be happy to come to you or we\u2019ll make a dinner for you, Nanny and Papa, we just want to celebrate you.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cBut they didn\u2019t contact them,\u201d the Peltz source added. \u201cThey just sat in a hotel room before flying home. And Nicola is friendly with Brooklyn\u2019s first girlfriend, she doesn\u2019t care [about that].\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

This was denied by Beckham sources.<\/p>\n

In his incendiary post, Brooklyn accused his mom of \u201cinviting\u00a0women from my\u00a0past\u00a0into our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last month, the Daily Mail <\/a>reported that David and Brooklyn had come \u201ctantalizingly close\u201d to coming face-to-face twice at the five-star Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Sources said Brooklyn\u2019s freeze-out has had a huge impact on his younger siblings, who all grew up adoring him.<\/p>\n

While Cruz has previously said, \u00a0\u201cMy mum and dad would never unfollow their son \u2026 They woke up blocked \u2026 as did I,\u201d he has also tried reaching out to Brooklyn \u2014\u00a0this week posting a throwback photo of them and brother Romeo, 23.<\/p>\n

David, who owns Inter Miami FC, will be on hand to greet his good friend, Prince William, when the royal travels out for the World Cup this summer. And yet, Brooklyn is not expected to join his family at any time.<\/p>\n

Still, Victoria said at her Time100 panel<\/a> Wednesday: \u201cI learned a long time ago to really not listen to the noise, not focus on the noise. Someone\u2019s always going to have something to say \u2026I don\u2019t want to know. That\u2019s how I handle it, I suppose.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThings have been calmer, and everyone is getting on with the lives, even though it\u2019s terribly sad they\u2019re not in contact with Brooklyn,\u201d admitted the source in the know. \u201cWhenever Brooklyn wants them, David and Victoria will be there to talk.\u201d<\/p>\n
