{"id":630836,"date":"2026-04-27T00:32:15","date_gmt":"2026-04-27T00:32:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/630836\/"},"modified":"2026-04-27T00:32:15","modified_gmt":"2026-04-27T00:32:15","slug":"25-year-old-man-killed-in-collision-edmonton-police","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/630836\/","title":{"rendered":"25-year-old man killed in collision: Edmonton police"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Edmonton police (EPS) are investigating a fatal collision involving a 25-year-old man early Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>According the EPS, at approximately 2:40 a.m., a BMW was travelling westbound on 41 Avenue SW when it lost control and left the roadway on the north side of 41 Avenue SW just west of Allard Road SW.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle allegedly then struck two trees and a light standard before coming to a stop.<\/p>\n<p>The driver was declared dead on the scene. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRoad conditions are not believed to have contributed to this collision; however, speed is considered a factor,\u201d EPS said.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Edmonton police (EPS) are investigating a fatal collision involving a 25-year-old man early Sunday.
