A man was in critical condition on Sunday evening following a stabbing in Mount Royal Park, near Parc Ave. and C\u00f4te-Ste-Catherine Rd. in the Ville-Marie borough.<\/p>\n
A 911 call was made at around 5:10 p.m. about a man in the park who had been injured. On arriving, police located a man with upper-body injuries caused by an edged weapon, said police spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant.<\/p>\n
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition \u201cand we fear for his life,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
A perimeter has been set up and police investigators and the canine unit were en route to the park to begin their investigation, Brabant said.<\/p>\n
No arrests have been made, he said.<\/p>\n
