A new pooled TB testing toolkit<\/a> will help healthcare providers to reach the \u2018missed millions\u2019 who go undiagnosed with the disease each year.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Evidence from Start4All<\/a>, a four-year\u00a0Unitaid-funded\u00a0partnership led by Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, has already\u00a0shown\u00a0that pooled sputum testing can cut costs and expand access to TB diagnosis without compromising accuracy.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n The findings have informed World Health Organization guidelines<\/a>, and\u00a0will now be part of a practical toolkit for National TB Programmes and others who are looking to implement or scale-up pooled testing.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Read more about the toolkit here<\/a>.Access the toolkit here<\/a>.For more TB updates, check out<\/a> the TB CAB Weekly Newsletter (Issue #13, 24 April 2026). \u00a0<\/p>\n
