The Edmonton Oilers<\/a> and Anaheim Ducks<\/a> are tied 2-2 after the second period in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series on Sunday night. <\/p>\n

With Edmonton up 2-0, Cutter Gauthier<\/a> got the Ducks on the board midway through the second period on the power play. With Oilers forward Josh Samanski<\/a> in the box for tripping, Gauthier ripped a shot past Tristan Jarry<\/a> from the circle to cut Edmonton\u2019s lead in half 2-1. <\/p>\n

With three minutes remaining in the second, Zach Hyman<\/a> was whistled for kneeing. With Hyman in the box, Mikael Granlund<\/a> skated in to beat Jarry on the power play to tie the game 2-2. <\/p>\n

Kasperi Kapanen<\/a> opened the scoring just 38 seconds into the game. Hanging around the front of the net, the puck found its way to Kapanen, who spun around and shot the puck past Ducks goaltender Lukas Dostal<\/a> for the early 1-0 lead. <\/p>\n

Jake Walman<\/a> and Jason Dickinson<\/a> got the assists on Kapanen\u2019s goal. <\/p>\n

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins<\/a> doubled Edmonton\u2019s lead six minutes later on the power play as his wrist shot from the circle beat Dostal. Evan Bouchard<\/a> and Connor McDavid<\/a> picked up the assists on the goal. <\/p>\n

The Oilers made a goaltending change prior to the game as Kris Knoblauch opted to start Jarry ahead of Connor Ingram<\/a>, who started the first three games of the series. <\/p>\n

Jarry went 9-6-2 as an Oiler in the regular season with a 3.86 goals-against average and an .858 save percentage.<\/p>\n

Ingram allowed 14 goals on 93 shots in the first three games of the series.<\/p>\n
