The leak allegedly stems from someone within Ubisoft, although not much else is known about the AC1 remake. The Black Flag remake was a collaborative effort between Ubisoft Singapore, Barcelona, Bordeaux, Belgrade, Chengdu, India, Kyiv, Montpellier, Philippines, Quebec, and Shanghai. <\/p>\n<p>This recent leak corroborates a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techpowerup.com\/348399\/ubisoft-may-squash-future-assassins-creed-remakes-if-black-flag-flops\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">recent rumor that Ubisoft already had at least one Assassin&#8217;s Creed remake in the works<\/a>, however, future remakes will hinge on the success of Black Flag Resynced. It remains to be seen what approach Ubisoft takes with the Assassin&#8217;s Creed 1 remake, but, given the way the gaming giant has handled Black Flag Resynced when it comes to features like DLC and multiplayer gameplay, or the absence of those features, it&#8217;s safe to assume Ubisoft will be taking the same cautious approach with the Assassin&#8217;s Creed 1 remake.
